Most of the Dual Desktop Cradles you see on our site specify that the USB is meant to charge the phone only and that the AC Adapter is used to charge the extra battery only. Now on up coming models of the Dual Desktop Cradle, the AC Adapter is able to charge both the phone AND extra battery. This means that you could use the USB cable to charge your phone but if you wanted to charge both the phone and extra battery you can just plug it into an outlet away from a computer. The USB cable would still be needed to sync the phone of course.

This new convenient feature means that you are able to use the Dual Desktop Cradle pretty much anywhere that has an outlet. You will no longer be bound by a computer unless you need to sync your phone.

Good news to HTC Mogul PPC6800 Dual Desktop Cradle owners though, this feature is already available on such cradles. So have fun charging your phones and batteries with the AC adapter!
