| | Hi, I recently purchased a non-OEM USB connector for my new Samsung A707 (Sync), which was also just recently purchased (to replace my 3rd RAZR in less than a year). I have downloaded PC Studio and installed it on my computer several times now (after uninstalling and re-installing). Each time I connect my USB cable between the phone and the computer, though, PC Studio does not recognize any connection, and my XP OS does not recognize either. I have installed what I believe to be the drivers (via PC Studio installers), but now I'm thinking that the problem might be that the non-OEM cable is not recognized by those drivers. This cable is so generic, that the only "identifying" information I can find on it is a sticker that simply says "AC108 T809". (I purchased cable from the sponsors of this forum.) I'm pulling the last of my hair out trying to get the phone connected, and nothing seems to work for me. Has anyone experienced similar and/or can anyone help with this issue? Me no like the standard ringtones - am wanting desparately to upload my custom tones. Thanks for any advice! j
Thanks,
Jeff |
