Yeah I don't think that feature is on the v3m. Maybe Verizon disabled that feature so you have to use their service.

right click on the shortcut on ur desktop...click on "open file location"...in that folder look for something called MMCenter...the icon looks like a music note with a bell or something like that...double click on that and it should open right up...i was having the same problem too, but once i did that...it worked...hope this helps..
