| | well teh computer connects, i can see it on "my computer" but the connection wizard on Samsung PC studio 3 doesnt, it says if failed to connect check teh phone and connection, i connected teh phone by synching it in my music, am i doing something wrong? i didnt download the software from here it came with my usb cable This is rediculous ive done everything possible, fresh copy of windows, installed 3.2 connected phone, windows sees teh phone but i can only access music files through windows when i open studio, it cant connect to the phone.what am i doing wrong i have the sch-u740 if that matters.... |

| | I think your phone U740 features are disabled by Verizon Wireless. They are known to do this so you have to use there paid services. If you can get some features to work but not all then it is most likely the case of providers had the manufacturers turn them off. |

| | Is there any way around this? Cause I have to say it is the only thing about my phone that really gets on my nerves. I hate having to manage my contacts one by one on my phone. I have a samsung sph-m610 and it simply will not connect. Starting to think I should have bought a different brand of phone |

| | so is there still no hope for a Verizon customer with the Samsung U740 to use PC Studio (or anything else) to sync their phone and upload/download pictures and ring tones? I really don't feel like paying to use their online services. Thank you - Andy |

| I don't think the problem you are having is specific to Verizon. I have a Samsung A707 with service through AT&T and I am having the same problem. The PC Studio works fine when I use my laptop that has XP - but when I use my other laptop that has Vista, the connection wizzard says the connection has failed but the connection is clearly there because I can sync and manage my multi-media. I'm not sure what to do at this point - as far as I knnow all my drivers and software are update....any other suggestions???  |

| just dl the samsung pc program and it wont connect to my sch-u340
phone thru alltel any help would work |

| lol, same problem with Samsung m300.
It seems everyone's having similar problems.... we need some techie genius to come along and kode us a driver....
