Hello,

I am new to this forum.  I had several challenges with the install process and was able to resolve all of the issues.  Most of the answers, along with the software, came from this site.   I wanted to take a moment and post as a way of saying thanks.   I have Windows XP and installed PC Studio 3.0

1.  Shockwave player not installed.  This is addressed in another thread.  Even after install I kept getting message.  Per other thread, go directly to bin directory and run the 3 .exe files.  Perfect.

2.  Cannot connect to device.  I believe the cause is because I connected device, via USB, before I ever knew about the PC Studio.  Result, windows couldn't find driver and assigned generic driver "Samsung -CDMA/"   Solution:  After PC Suite installed, go to control panel - add new hardware - click on the "Samsung -CDMA" and continue through prompts.  The system searches and identifies the new drivers.  After closing, rebooting and reconnecting, I am able to connect.

3.  Although I was now connected, none of the options was highlighted or accessible.  Solution: 3.0 like 3.2 has a live update.  Run it.  34Meg for me.  Rebooted and reconnected and everything works like a charm.

Thank you for creating this site.  It is well laid out and has excellent search function.
