This is a great product for my work bench. I hated the fact I away have to find a plug for my regular wall plug now i just have it stickin up on my desk and charge.

• Q: Does this cradle have a standard mini-USB connector for charging or is it different looking? My AT&T 8525 has a non-standard USB charging connector that is square on one side and angled on the other. I purchased a cradle from a different company (shame on me) and the cradle connector was a standard mini-USB. The phone would fit and even begin to charge but then it would stop charging. • Q: I just received the item (no instructions included). When I plug into AC power both lights come on. I insert spare battery and nothing changes. After several hours I take battery off and try in phone and battery is not charging. Do I have to have USB plug as well as AC to just charge spare battery?   A: Yes this sku is compatible with AT&T 8525. Since their name change we did not update the title but now it has been done. As for the extended battery it will fit AT&T 8525 but will not fit the cradle slot for this sku. The back battery slot will fit and charge the extended batter though as it has more room

  A: There is a plug in the back of the cradle for the AC adapter. It is a mini USB port adapter.

  A: Please note that the USB powers and charge the 1st slot which is for the actual PDA. The 2nd slot is powered by the wall adapter only.

  A: No. The bigger extended battery will not fit the battery slot or the phone slot.
