This 2.5mm headset adapter for the AT&T 8525 works like a charm with both my Plantronics wired headsets. The mute and volume controls on both sets work through this adapter and the sound quality is great. Thanks for keeping this on the market at such a reasonable price! More HTC TyTNII owners needs to know about this 'cause it's been hard to find online. It seems the 'transformer' addition is what makes this adapter fully functional vs. others you find online which don't enable all mic and volume controls to work.

- Q: I have a Belkin WIFI phone for Skype it didn't come with a mono/mic but it has a plug-in for a 2.5mm jack for a mono/mic. I tried the one from my cell phone it didn't work (no audio or mic function) Any suggestions? I too have the same problem as many others out here who are looking for a decent headset with mic. The headset supplied with my HTC phone doesnt fit in my ears and is therefore uncomfortable. I have seen a plantronics Halo headset with 2.5mm jack and wanted to know if i could use your adapter to make the headset including mic work with my HTC Advantage PDA. I currently have problems getting the recipient to hear me because my mic on my current headset doesnt work properly.

A: You have to determine if the HTC Artemis headset output jack is 2.5mm or mini USB. If the audio output/input use mini usb then this sku will work with HTC Artemis.

A: The only adapters we have available connect from a ExtUSB to a 2.5mm or 3.5mm headset.

A: No it does not require software. You simply plug it into the phone and connect your headset and you're good to go.
