- Q: How can I find the female port in my car? I have an Odyssey 2005 model. You say "shorter end is plugged into the auxiliary port of the stereo. " Are you sure that my car has such a port? Thanks. - Name:Andrew - 9/25/2007 11:35:00 AM
A: We aren't sure if your car has an auxiliary port. From what we know, most recent model vehicles have a standard 3.5mm auxiliary port. If you know your vehicle is iPod ready then you should have such a port. The shorter end is referring to the standard 3.5mm size.

A: This cable is approximately 2.5 feet long.
- Q: I can't get this to work! Am I supposed to change a setting in my iPhone! - Name:Richard R. - 9/17/2007 4:51:00 PM
A: The longer pin is made to specifically fit the iPhone's recessed headset port. Make sure that pin is plugged into the iPhone and that the shorter end is plugged into the auxiliary port of the stereo. We have tested this with an actual iPhone and yes it does work. There is no need to activate any type of setting just simply plug it in and play your tunes.
