this product is not what i needed or what it was stated to be in the reviews. i now have 2 i can do nothing with. i needed an adapter that will use any standard headphones. i cannot find head phones with a 2.5 mm plug any where. This product defeated the whole purpose for me.

It works for mono in a pinch, but this adapter lacks the key requirement
I needed which was to adapt a standard 2.5mm STEREO headset
which can be replaced less expensively than a dedicated,
model-specific stereo headset.

I have a bluetube headset (no, not bluetooth), which requiers a 2.5 mm jack. This is for my samsung propel SGH-a767 phone which it does not fit. This seems to be the adapter I am looking for, however Question : My headset has a seperate volume control along the cord with a mute button attached. I don't think it's a microphone or anything... wondering if this will work! I don't really care if my volume control on the headset works or not... A: Rest assured this adapter is compatible for your phone and you will hav no problemns hearing. The only thing we do advise is that the speaker feature may or may not work on your headset.
