Using this with my MacBook Pro 17" (early 2009) and a Sony HD LCD TV, this device works brilliantly. Combined with a low-cost HDMI cable from Radio Shack, the setup is easy and the picture is crystal clear with brilliant color. (Only text appears a bit jagged when viewed up-close on the TV.) This was the lowest cost adapter of this type that I could find and it does not disappoint.

I rate it low only because it is not what I thought it was. It is apparently for some other model than the cheap white 13 inch plastic mac book. The price was low, so it is probably not worth shipping it back to return. Perhaps i may discover someone to give it to.

works perfectly!!! I'm using this with my macbook pro. It works better with Snow Leopard than normal Leopard OS X because it detects the tv's color settings and stuff. Anyways, I'm freakin glad I spent 10 bucks on this thing!

• Q: I recently purchased a "Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter For Apple Unibody MacBook Pro Air Mac" from your website. It arrived today, and when I hooked up my new MacBook Pro via MDP to my Sharp TV via HDMI, the video comes through just fine, however, the audio continues to come from the laptop. Can you advise what I can do to make the audio to come out of the TV as well?   A: This is a limitation from Apple Mini DisplayPort design. They do not output audio even HDMI supports audio.
